FarmVille Tips: Five Simple ways to level up fast in FarmVille

Before jumping into our five tips, here's a 30-second overview of what certain items do: Cows and goats give milk, chickens give eggs, turtles give eggs, ducks give feathers, horses give horsehair, sheep give wool, pigs give truffles, rabbits give angora wool. Some animals such as cats and bulls don't yield anything but allow you to pet them or brush them. The bull will sometimes yield a baby calf when placed in the dairy farm with the cows. Another quick tip -- by adding a diary farm and chicken coop you can harvest 20 cows or chicken at once, which means making more money with less effort.
Now that you've inhaled that information, here are five tips that will take you from casual gardener to fearless farmer in no time.
1. Plant your crops according to how much time you can devote to playing the game. If you have a period of time where you won't be able to play, plant crops that takes 8 or 12 hours to grow. If you are not going to be going into the game for several days, plants crops that take several days to grow. That way you won't have to worry about withered crops, which means no cash or achievement points for you. The more crops your harvest the more experience points you'll get.
2. Try trapping your farmer to harvest or plow faster. Waiting for your farmer to follow your mouse clicks can slow down progress. One way to speed up plowing and harvesting is to trap your farmer using hay bales or fencing. To block in your farmer with hay bales, stack one bale on each side of your farmer. Your farmer will plow and harvest from where you trap him/her, and you won't have to wait for your farmer to catch up. This is especially helpful for players with large farms.
3. Plant trees in areas of your farm that are unusable to crops. I like to plant my trees long the top edge of my plot. Since the tress are tall, they can obscure your view, making it hard to see if crops or animals are ready to harvest. Placing them at the top of the screen ensures that nothing gets blocked from view. Trees and animals do not yield experience points so if you're trying to level up fast, keep these to a minimum.
4. Visit your neighbors' farm and fertilize their crops. Also clear weeds, or random animals from their farms. You'll earn points and coins for helping them scare away crows or pulling weeds. In return, have your neighbors fertilize your crops. Fertilized crops yield more coins and experience points.
5. Resist the urge to buy animals or trees since these items do not give experience points (or much return on your investment). It's better to just receive these items as gifts and save your coins and FarmVille dollars for special or seasonal items or a land expansion.

Farmville Strategy – Levelling Up
As you continue to build and develop you personal Farmville strategy, there are many angles to consider. It’s challenging to weed through all the available information, but here are some Farmville tips and tricks to help you advance.
Generosity Pays Off
I’ve mentioned before that generosity pays off, and it does in several ways. First, you earn coins and experience points (”xp”) nearly every time you help on a neighbor’s farm, whether it’s shooing foxes or gophers, raking leaves or pulling weeds. These are ways to help that are “free”.
Giving gifts is free, but you’re allowed only so many per day of play. However being generous with gifts can fetch you some nice gifts when your neighboring farmers reciprocate with gifts of their own. Fertilizing another farmer’s crops costs you a bit of coin, but gives you xp and usually your neighbors will return the favor by fertilizing your crops when they need it.
Earning Ribbons
“Winning” ribbons will usually give you a bonus of a few xp and a small pile of coins, and many of the available ribbons can be earned with very little effort. Meeting the minimum requirements earns you a yellow ribbon. Next you earn white, red and finally a blue ribbon.
Although just doing your regular farm stuff will easily get you a yellow ribbon in many of the categories, it’s a good thing to be mindful of the requirements for the next award. For instance the Local Celebrity ribbons are earned by adding neighbors, the Good Samaritan by helping neighbors, Cream of the Crop for harvesting your own crops, etc.
Be Efficient
Your goal should not be to have the “prettiest” farm, but the most efficiently run. As you practice generosity, for example, be aware that sometimes helping your neighbor pays more than others, literally. The first 20 people you help in a day pay you 20 coins and 5 xp. After that you get only 5 coins and 1 xp, for the very same effort.
Also in the name of efficiency, plan your planting and harvesting so that you’re not having to set an alarm and pick your crops in the middle of the night. Schedule your harvest around the time(s) of day you will playing Farmville, so that your schedule serves you, not the other way around. This is one of the farmville tricks your family will appreciate.
Helping your neighboring farmers, keeping an eye on your Ribbons, doing it all in an efficient manner are part of a winning strategy for Farmville. This should help a great deal in building your farm.

Make Money in Farm Ville
1.Log on daily to get your coins from the Daily Raffle.
2.Harvest crops as many as possible.
3. If You Can login frequently harvest crops such as raspberry so as to add more no crops harvested in your account and to get more coins sooner.
Best Yielding Farmville Crops and Trees
Rich and want to level quickly? Buy hay bales. They will give you 5 XP each. Buy as many as you have room for, delete and buy more.
Buying hay bales also gives you a Pack Rat Ribbon pretty quickly. You can also get an Architect blue ribbon (with the same reward) by buying rest rooms.
Best Yielding Trees and Animals
Focus on the animals that yield a lot like Horses, Goats, Ducks and Rabbits (50 coins each). The best trees are Pomegranate, Banana and Passion fruit tree's (100 coins each).
Ask for these as gifts and avoid all the low yielding animals and trees.
Faster Gain of XP in Farmville
For a real FarmVille pro, achieving the right balance of crops, trees and animals is the essence of the game. This is a matter of experimenting with the crops available at each level. This is one reason FarmVille is fiendishly addictive- different levels need different fixes. You will have to study the tables like the ones down the page.
One approach that will work pretty well at every level is the quick turnover of harvests described below. Instead of mixing crops that give XP with crops that give coins, you just alternate between the two. One day you grow crops that give good coins, another day crops that give good XP. Of course, if you are topping up your FV-money with a credit card you can just go for the XP every time.
Quick Turnover Harvests
The faster you keep the plow, sow and harvest cycle turning over, the more coins and XP points you will accumulate. Also, the better the shape that your farm is in, the better it performs. So get all the farm upgrades that you can then add extra fields up to the maximum allowed. Planting and harvesting quickly will soon bring in the rewards.
To get XP Say you have 240 fields (easily achievable). If you sow the cheap, quick harvesting plants (see list below)- the ones that can be harvested in a day and yield 2 XP, your total XP increase for that day will be 720, since:
Each field gives 1 XP= 240
Each field harvested gives 2 XP= 480
Total= 720. A good haul.
If you want to use the higher yielding crops that take longer before harvesting, do a little math to make sure you get the same return. Often, you just don't. On the other hand, slow growing crops may be essential if you can only visit your farm occasionally. Remember that they spoil if you miss the harvesting window
How to Keep the FarmVille-Money Coming
You need to buy the seeds, pay for plowing etc so remember to plant good coin producing crops as soon as funds run low. Always keep something for expenses!
The crops that deliver most coins per hour are listed in the table at the bottom of the page.
If you see “Super Berries” in the market these will harvest in 2 hours and you can sell for 100 coins. Super Berries are usually only around for a day or two though. The last time was when FarmVille reached 5 million visitors, Worth watching out for.
Also, visit your neighbors farms regularly. If you are lucky, a pop up will ask if you want to do some weeding or other job. Filling in surveys, as described below, is boring but gives a steady stream of FV-cash.
Getting Unlimited Gifts – Get Them and Sell them to get Coins

his trick will get you many free coins by sending multiple gifts from one Facebook account. You can ask a friend or family member that is a FarmVille user to assist you with this. Return the favor by sending multiple gifts to the person on FarmVille using this trick. In order to use this trick to get more coins you will need to use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer.
Login to Facebook and enter FarmVille, then go onto Free Gifts. Instead of selecting and sending an item , right click on the button Free Gifts and sekect “Open in new window”. Continue doing this so until you have several windows opened. This has been testes to work with up to 10 windows at a time so you can try around that number. You will get less error messages if you do this late at night or early in the morning.
On each window, select gifts and you can select a different gift in each window. Then you select your friends. Again you can select different users or the same person. Now continue to the confirming window and hit send button, one after the next. You have now sent all those gifts. This trick is also known as unlimited gifts.
People can return the favor by doing the same thing. So share this trick with friends so that you can have a great time getting extra gifts together.
